Enough said. I just realized tonight the local mom's group to which I belong is the main social outlet for many other moms here.  And that's good.  Tonight I am thankful for participating in my local mom's group.

Today I'm thankful for smooth mornings. Teeth, hair, clothes, breakfast, play all happy and easy.

Today I am grateful that we have wonderful learning opportunities for our children.  We have an awesome preschool and an outstanding elementary.  It's such a joy to see the girls thrive.

Today I'm eternally, unknowingly, retrospectively grateful for the 4 years, 10 months, 26 days of parenting that have been without Barney.

I'm grateful tonight that Erin has a Kindergarten teacher who is interested in learning, in how learning happens, and in children.  She's the perfect storm of a teacher.

Today I'm grateful for finding a wonderful, warm, nurturing, fun preschool.  Erin thrived at her preschool, and Robin is so excited to start there.  It's such a great group of teachers, an excellent balance between play and structure, lots of creativity.  I am so excited for Robin to start.

Today I am thankful for easy bed times.  I love it when I sit in the rocking chair and listen to the girls breathing slow, as they gently slip into sleep.  It tells me they've had a busy, full day and always hope it means sweet dreams.

Today I am thankful that Erin opened up to me. She's having a tough time with drop-off at Kindergarten and I'm grateful she shared so much of her school day with me when she got home.
